Most of my time in BHS was spent talking about things I'd rather be doing and not doing work, but there was a class or two I found interesting enough to pay attention in.

I took art history as my 1/2 semester fine art class. The class was an interesting look, mostly because of the cast of characters in my class.

And Mrs. Parr's typing class was fun, spent all my time arguing with Courtney Jarrett about whether golf and cheerleading were real sports.

I would have to say Saturday Detention. Oh that wasn't a class? It sure felt like it. I either had that or ISS every other week. But it was fun cause some of everybody was always in there.

Actually I have to say Mr. Nobles or Mr. Warhola. I had fun in both of those classes. And Mr. O'Hara. He made history interesting!!

I hated Ms. Eadie!! I could walk in the classroom say hi and she would think I was being funny and send me right back in the hallway!! EVIL LADY!!

My favorite female teacher was Rebecca Barraclough (Mrs. B) she made english fun. I'd have to say Mr.Doan was the best male teacher. I could never get over him wearing his track outfit (which consisted of hot pink and neon green booty shorts, tennis shoes and a shirt and tie) to science class .

QUE PASA ?

LAST NIGHT I GOT A VISIT FROM THE TEACHER OF BJHS PAST. FOR ALL YOU SPANISH KIDS MR MARKHAM WAS ONE OF MY GUEST LAST NIGHT. HE LOOKS ALMOST THE SAME A LITTLE MORE WEIGHT THAN I REMEMBER. HE WORKS AT THE KEMPS LANDING MAGNET SCHOOL, THOUGH HE REPORTED THERE'S LESS FIGHTS THERE THAN AT BAYSIDE JUNIOR, HOW BORING

My favorite class was Biology with Mr. Revelle. He was cool and laid back. Lamont, Shaunte, Willie, william, and some more black folks used to make his world that day horrible. We were a mess in that class. My years at Bayside where cool though.

Of Course everybody knows my favorite teacher was Ms. Wilkes (the Chorus Teacher) She was my best friend, we would laugh together and talk. I have not been able to keep in touch as I would like. When I got married, I sent her an inviation and she came. I was so elated to see her.

Do we have any other Chorus kids online? Darlin Marlins, Mads, Mixed, etc.

Hey Charalese,

It's Kerri Theodorakis, How have you been doing? How is Ms. Wilkes doing? Is she still teaching at BHS? Ms. Wilkes was definatly one of my favorites her and Ms Zirkle. They were both awesome teachers.

Herr Bland (German)was definitely the coolest teacher at Bayside. Chill, laid back, and he acted just like Kramer from Seinfeld. Mr. Venner was cool, too. I'll never forgot the time he told Shawn Land, "If you call me stupid one more time, I am going to follow you home and whip your butt in your backyard". Too funny.

I hated Mr. Gowin. He thought I was cheating on a quiz for some reason, to be honest with you I didn't have any answers on it. He said he hated cheaters more than anything in the world, started breaking pencils and then all of the papers fell off his podium and I started laughing. So, he took me outside and started bowing up on me and throwing check punches at my face. I told him as a junior if I ever saw him outside of school I was going to kick him in the head. I heard from some of the baseball players that he was pretty cool, so to each his own.

His name was Mr. Doan. How could you not remember that class? Snacks with Lamont Miller should bring some memories. Lord have mercy that class was off the hook. I don't think I remember a thing from that class, but I made a B though.

I liked ms bright´s geometry class just because of her...It´s ironic she taught geometry, considering the fact she´s that subject herself...She´s nice too.
