First off, we didn't have it where we wanted to have it. For those of you who don't know the story, c/o 95 got screwed on their prom location and in a mad scramble, Soltner found the back then Radisson Pavilion. But in order to sink the deal for c/o 95, he had to promise that the next 5 classes would have their proms there. As rich in fundraising as our class was, we could've had Prom anywhere, but no, we were relegated to that dump hole. Second off, don't go to prom/ring dance/etc. with someone you like, but are not dating. Or with someone you're dating from another school. I was dating my prom date for about 2 weeks. And while she was good company; she didn't know any of you. So I spent the whole time keeping her occupied rather than having fun with my friends. Plus her Nazi-ass step dad wanted her home by like 12:30 so that was a crock. As for my beef with ring dance.. that's another story... ask me about it sometime....or martin sunglao Third off, it just sucked... admit it. Spent all that damn money and for what. Some pictures, a dead flower that you'll stick in a tin wine glass, and 100-200 bucks out the window. Worse if you're a girl and you're stuck with a dress you'll never wear again. I would've rather taken that 100 bucks out of pocket and the rest of the money we raised, and thrown all of you on a bus, drove down to a beach house, bought some roast pigs and some ribs, snuck in some beer, and just had fun. Am I cynical ...maybe |

martin, i just read what you wrote... ummm.. i didn't go home with my date or your date... i just went home... now if you went home with my date, then more power to you, my friend... haha... anyways, that sucked
neal.. is that the night we ended up at denny's and your hick uncle the rent-a-cop was giving us the lookdown? or was that prom? either one... both nights sucked... graduation sucked ... our homecomings all sucked... everything sucked...
nicole, this reunion weekend better not suck... if i gotta babysit someone who's had to much to drink just like high school... then that'll suck... that weekend only wont' suck unless i break someone on the football field... that would be cool... we should invite liem so i could break him...

| Prom for me was just that. I went with Big Daddy (Keith), Shannon Paul, and Sean. I forget where we ate dinner, or if we did. Somewhere in the Northend. I was finishing my bout with mono and my dress had gotten too big from me losing weight. We stayed at the dance for about an hour or two. I do remember Mr. Debranski dancing to the Fugees. He made me feel drunk! Ah, and the hotel afterparty at the Tropicana on 15th. That was fun. Not too bad of a night but it was 10 years ago!! I still have pics from that hotel party. |
