| I was in Mrs Blackman's (gov't) when we had the bomb threat. She was a 9th grader running with an umbrella outside and totally freaked out yelling "that kid has got a gun!" |

It is hard to believe that those fights are still going on. Luckily, I was never too close to the battle zones of the hammer throws or the kid getting pushed out in front of the bus. That is one thing that you have to say about BHS, never a dull moment. The bomb threat in 96 was the MAIN thing that sticks out in my head. I was in Mr. Venner's chem class and the bathroom the the alleged blomb was in was in the hall where the biology classes were.... um, don't remember. So needless to say, that is probably the closest I had ever came to a total catastrophe at Bayside. THANK GOODNESS! Life is way too short for all the other nonsense! |

| I remember the football teams fighting that was my senior year. The BA and LE fights have been going on for years. So I am not sure which one you are talking about. But the fight in the 88-89 school year those fools ended up at my house together. I was so angry at them because DaShell told me in Mrs. Otter spanish class that it was going to happen right after first period and that they all LE and BA boys would be at my house when I got home. I could not believe it when I walked in my house. They were playing my nintendo and chilling in my house. I WAS HOT!!!!!!! They did that just to see who would win. There were still friends after that. Too bad kids are not like that today. Now they go and kill each other. |

If I'm not mistaken the 88-89 fight caused the school to loses State in the 4X4 relay team that year, because half the team was BA and the other half was LE. Which stunk!! By the was has anyone heard anything about Mr Morgan that last I heard he was battling Cancer. |

I wasn't at Bayside yet--was one of those still going to junior high and came in as a sophmore. I do remember it was all in the paper and I was terrified of starting school there the next year!
