Both doing well. My mom and Stepdad are looking at houses down here close to me. Yipee! (That was sarcasm). She says she wants to be close to my boys. Strange how parents change when they are grandparents. Even stranger is when you start to sound like your own parents! I guess when you get old that happens. Jay is doing good, been working as a plumber since he graduated in 98, runs his own crew and everything.

| Just in case anyone is interested Josh Frakes is getting married this weekend in Washington state. He pilots refueling jets for the Airforce nowadays. His future wife is Alaskan. I don't think she lives in an igloo or anything cool though. |

I'm back in the area living in Suffolk with my wife and two kids. Unfortunately, Bobst had it right in his post regarding my memory. Since I left the military I keep running into to person after person that recognizes me and I draw a complete blank. I think you lived in the neighborhood across from mine. As always I could be making that up.

Derek Jones, maybe you remember maybe you dont. Im writing because you mentioned kente and leonard doby. My father passed recently and he coached us all when I moved down to VA. In my last post, the neighborhood question was directed to Jeremie. I grew up in Wesleyan Chase and I remember playing basketball at your house from time-to-time. Either way, this site is a great idea even though some of the names make me feel like I might be displaying early signs of Alzheimer's. It was great to hear that Danny Merce is doing well. I lost touch with him awhile back.

What's going on Lorenzo? I do remember those days. I went back to my old neighborhood recently and it hasn't changed much. I think you lived near Norfolk Academy. As a kid I thought you and your family were rich because of the size of your house compared to mine. Good times. It's easier for me to remember the people that went all the way through the Bayside system like we did. Looking back, it seemed the closer to high school we came, the less we hung out together. Your post of the passing of Ronique Ewing brought up some memories. She was involved in the first time I ever broke any bones. I can't forget that. On a lighter note, I went through the guestbook the other night and you look exactly the same.
Anthony a diplomat. The same guy who subjected me to the beautiful sounds of Cannibal Corpse and Morbid Angel anytime I was in his car.

Mike Roberts.. man it's been a long time. Yeah, you, todd & brian miller, the virgili's, jason short and just about everyone would come over from Weslyan Chase and play basketball, football or tennis ball baseball.
