| Ok...since I frequent this site...I think that I'll try to take the lead on our reunion...yes it's two years away...but I think that it'll take about that long to try round people up for it...I'm gonna need help of course...so I'll volunteer a couple people for this...holla at my sister (Cecelia Layo) or Eugene McKissick for your contact info...due to my obligations to the military...I may be deployed soon...so I'll need someone to take over where I have left off...holla back... |

I love the volunteering of me and your sister ...what is this a draft. LOL...i'm all up for helping out, as for taking over...with a wedding to plan in late 2007 or early 2008 I wouldn't be the most available person for that.

Ok...so heres the deal...I'm kinda in a war right now...and its kinda hard planning out a reunion when I have taliban shooting at me and trying to blow me up with RPG's and IEDs...help anyone?!?!?!

Ok...heres the deal....since i have a couple weeks without any missions Ive gotta run over here....this is some of the stuff we need to get done to get the ball rolling:
1. A directory listing of contact info for members of our class (this site helps a little bit, but someone needs to consolidate it and start sending out emails and messages)
2. Find a venue for the event (most big venues require a deposit and at least 3-6 months of notification).
3. Establish a cost and assign a "treasurer".
4. Assign a point of contact to funnel information from participants and event coordinator.
Ok....thats it. But step 1 is crucial. The sooner we get contact info, the sooner we can get the ball rolling. Also, contacting BHS may be a good start....I'm sure someone there will be willing to get us tips to get things going as well.

i can attempt to help as much as i can ... classmates is a great place to post a bulletin for contact information as well as myspace. I know that the class of '97 had a myspace profile set up.
i'm about 4 hours from VA Beach, but like I said, I can attempt to assist. i will post a bulletin through my Myspace page to see if anyone that is on my friends list from class of 98 would like to help.

| Hey its Heather James. I am interested in a reunion! I will help out as much as I can. I am getting ready to move to Florida but I will definitely be back for the reunion. Like Chanel said, myspace is a great place, I know a lot of people that are on my friends list from our class! Hope to hear from you guys soon! |
